Support this project: link to Context Thinking
Why a link helps
This site is found through search engines, and search engines weigh how many other sites point to a page. For a project without a marketing budget, that is the difference between being found and staying invisible.
It is not about numbers. One link from a practice website, a professional association or a student service counts for more than dozens of links from random places. Someone who arrives here through a referral from their own doctor or therapist comes with a very different question than someone who stumbles upon it.
Who is this for?
A referral makes most sense when it fits your own content:
- general practices, psychologists, psychiatrists and therapists
- parent associations, self-help groups and patient organisations
- schools, student counselling and student services
- programmes in medicine, psychology, educational science and nursing
- colleagues writing about autism, thinking styles or psychological vulnerability
Place the link where it belongs in substance — on a page about autism, about referrals, or in a list of sources. A link that makes no sense in context helps no one, this site included.
How to do it
Point to the starting page in the language your readers speak:
- Dutch: contextthinking.org/nl/
- English: contextthinking.org/en/
- French: contextthinking.org/fr/
- German: contextthinking.org/de/
- Spanish: contextthinking.org/es/
- Italian: contextthinking.org/it/
Or link straight to the page that matches your topic, for example autism, high sensitivity or what is context.
Write the link text in your own words. For inspiration, freely adaptable:
- Context Thinking — knowledge platform on context sensitivity and thinking styles
- Background on autism as a difference in context processing
- Further reading on thinking styles and psychological vulnerability
A plain link is enough. Nothing is expected in return: no reciprocal link, no mention, no arrangement. If you would rather not link but do share the site, that helps just as much.
Other ways to help
- Pass it on to colleagues. In teaching, peer supervision or a newsletter, this content reaches exactly the people who can do something with it.
- Cite it in publications. The content is licensed under CC BY-NC-SA 4.0, so reuse is allowed with attribution and for non-commercial purposes.
- Report errors. A wrong reference, an outdated figure or a sentence that does not hold up: let us know at info@contextthinking.org. Corrections are as welcome as compliments.
- Suggest missing literature. If you know research that belongs here, send it along. The bibliography grows with it.
What this is not
This is not a fundraiser. No money is asked, nothing is for sale, and no data is collected to approach anyone. See the privacy policy for what the site does and does not record.
More about the background of this project is on the about page and with the author.
